All about Whitney Moore... [Sundays 10am-2pm]
I am an Asheville girl through and through. My ancestors farmed and preached and doctored in the hillsides until moving to Asheville proper in the twenties. My folks were small town rock stars and my dad says I was singing three part harmonies by the time I was four.
At nine I began a career as a TV/Radio voice talent and I've been doing commercials, cartoons, and video games ever since. I spent most of my adult life living abroad- studying, performing, adventuring.
I have a lot of great stories, but in the end, nowhere could compete with these beautiful mountains. Not to mention Asheville is seriously hip now, and I'm excited to be working at a radio station that promotes our local music scene and businesses.
